Have you seen it on your netflix recommendations? I had seen it and thought "I should watch that." I hadn't mentioned it to a friend, but she ended up telling me about it and that it was written by a redditor. Reddit, for those unawares, is a social media platform. In any case, I watched the show on netflix. I won't give the plot away or anything like that. Instead I'll just tell you how I felt. Excited, Terrified, Sad, Worried, Happy, Sad Again, Wrenched Dry. Yeah, those emotions are in no particular order by the way. This is the reddit community for the show :

It is a bit scary but it's not nearly as scary as it seems.

@stapllotik Horror shows / movies aren't for everyone. There is much more of a story behind this one though, it's not all about jump scares.

I've heard about it but haven't watched. I have a few more days of Netflix before I'm going to cancel it..which I might as well do. I havent used it.

I don't use netflix all that much myself, atleast until this time of year. I only keep it because my nephew comes over here and watches it every Friday. So atleast it gets used. If you want to watch it, the show is about ten episodes long. I watched it in about two days. Though there are stories written by the reddit user and some not written by the reddit user but still based on the same storyline.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I may watch an episode and see if it's worth it I just don't see a point in keeping it when it's not being used enough to justify what I pay

@thislittlepennyearns I get it. I am extremely frugal. I don't like spending money on things that aren't being used or that I don't need.

The first episode I watched a few days ago and it was okay. I think it took the entire show for anything very interesting to happen. I have high hopes for it still that the rest of the episodes will be better.

There are some episodes that are more about the backstory which does divide up the horror appeal of the whole thing

I read somewhere it was one of the scariest books/movies ever, so I read it and watched the movie..I wouldn't agree with the assessment.but they were decent.

*screams at the top of my lungs in frustration* Okay, so perhaps I am not being that dramatic as I am not actually screaming. I thought I made it clear enough -This is a new series not based off of anything previous! *You'll forgive me please, you don't know how many people online and off have gotten this confused with something else though I've clearly told them it ISN'T related

We have a few episodes of Sneaky Pete to watch and then we're planning on making a start. :)

@Poppylicious Ah, I'm not sure who plays that role. I might have to watch it soon just to see what I think of it. Amazon has some good original programming.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I think it's good, but then I do have a soft spot for the guy who plays Mariusz/Pete, but I can't remember his name.

I haven't actually seen the show, but I have heard of it. I don't know if I would want to see it. Right now I have too many shows to watch that I taped on my DVR.

Well, you can also go to reddit and find the stories written about it. I plan to read those a little later.
