Little homemade heater

So the other night was so cold and we didn't have any heat we decided to make one. It was very simple and cheap to do, you just take an empty can (metal) clean it out, a roll of tolit paper, and a bottle of 91% alcohol. We stuffed the tp in the can and filled it with the alcohol and it worked so good for a while. Next time we will make a bigger one to see how long that one works. So now I think this is a great thing for anyone to make for emergency.

Just be very very careful!!! It would be very easy to set your place on fire and injure yourselves very badly from the fire. I don't want to rain on your parade so to speak, but after losing my home to fire I am very cautious about fire and flames. I don't want what happened to me to happen to others...even though my fire was caused by the power company there is nothing like seeing your home being destroyed by flames. Please be very careful with your heater. If you lived near me I would have you staying with me to provide you with a warm place to live.

Thank you so much that is so sweet of you , and yes I know how it is to lose everything to a fire I have been there once already. So I am as cautious as I can be.

So long as it keeps you warm, I suppose that is all that matters.I have heat.

@porwest We don't heat at the moment because we are staying in the homemade truck camper we built and we ran out of money to build a heater in.
