Tridhara Durga Mandap is famous for depicting Durga Puja of indigenous tribes. The idols of Goddess durga, Lakshmi, Saraswati are made in the form of puppets. In the forests and tribal areas the Gods are worshipped in this way. The mandap has good work of art.

Thanks Arunima Singh, yes partly they are made up of canes, in bengali we call them beth.

@sathviksouvik It is so beautiful. My bua stays in Kolkata and as a child I have visited Kolkata during puja time. We have pandals in Bihar and Jharkhand too which are just too good.

@arunima25 Thanks Arunima Singh. Happy mahastami. Today we had puspanjali and khichuri bhog in our local puja Agragami. I enjoy the spirit in Kolkata. How is puja in Bengaluru?

Thanks Caopaopao the mandap and the idols are prepared for 6 months. It is difficult work of art.
