I'll be honest with you guys, sometimes my mind discriminate. Though it seems I've acted accordingly in life situation. You can't hear a words of discrimination from me but sometimes my mind think differently. Yeah, my mind sometimes judge the book by its cover alone. It is easy to say we are not because that is the best words to say. But when a man dress is dirty are we gonna think he is clean? Simply no, but are we going to say that to him? When a man cause so much stinks of course we will not think we smell something delightful but are we gonna say "stinky man you are" to him especially when they are strangers. I don't know if I'm making a clearer point but I don't want to make myself a bit clearer because I may hurt someone if I am right to the very point of what I think. So, does your mind judge the book by its cover? Poetry Image: Mysterious Aries What do you think about the Poem?

I am exactly like @Morleyhunt, I do my best to tread everyone the same, but I cannot stand bad smell.

I don't have a problem with skin colors. I like the variety. But I don't like dirty clothes and bad smells.

i think it is human to discriminate, but it is our conscience to dictate which one should be or shouldn't be allowed.

I think you are right but the good thing is that you keep that in mind and not saying it.

Indeed my friend. Maybe, raw things are being digested by our machine (brain) and throw those materials that are unhealthy.

Yep. Hate to say it but it is what it is. For example I feel safer around men wearing a suit regardless of the skin color. Whereas if I see a man dressed in stereotypical "thug gear" (aka hoodie and pants hanging off the butt) my first reaction is to be on high alert. Of course body language also makes a world of difference too. With the right posture, hoodie guy seems less intimidating I think the media conditions us to think like this

I believe that it is all a part of human nature to judge something from sight alone. The challenge comes to teach your heart to reach out respectively and learn more. We may learn something we never understood before while at the same time, make a human connection that may bless our soul. Do I judge others? Yes I do, but not because of how they look or smell. I judge them by how they treat another human being. How you treat others speaks volumes about your own character. I believe that people fear the things they don't understand and that is where unacceptance, intolerance, and judgements are created.

Your composition is so beautiful. I would be lying if I say that I don't discriminate sometimes but later realise that is wrong.

I must say you have a point. But we all need to try and control our minds as i guess we are guilty of this. Often time, i make conclusion about people going by the first impression they create only to realise that i have a wrong perception after all.
