I Started My Christmas Shopping

Happy Wednesday Everyone!
I can't believe I bought my first Christmas gift already (for my oldest daughter) and haven't even gotten one piece of candy yet to give out on Halloween. The gift I got for my daughter was something my youngest daughter suggested so I went with it and now I'm happy that I got it.
Time is flying by as we say all the time. Christmas will be here before we know it so I guess it isn't unusual to be talking holidays already.
My house is decorated for the Fall and Halloween yet I'm already feeling the Christmas spirit. Going shopping brings on the holiday festivities early because some are already decorated.
Back to the present....it's a sunny but chilly day here today. My two daughters got up early and went walking while I stayed snuggled under the covers. The heat came on during the night so I knew it had gotten cold. No way I was going out that early to walk!
I feel like I've been extra busy lately and haven't spent as much time here as I'd like. Hopefully today I can catch up a bit but my daughter is home so don't know what the afternoon will bring.

Awww I was thinking of you too and telling my daughter about your new job. As you know she travels too many hours a day to her job and wants to look for a new one closer to home. She's hesitant leaving the place she's familiar with and starting something new. So, I told her about you changing jobs

@Marilynda1225 That's so neat. I am getting excited about the new job, I have never had such a well-paying job, and apparently they treat their staff really well.

I need to find out about how many children to expect before I go out to buy my candy. Hubby will be handing it out this year...

I started my Xmas shopping right from August. I have this party for the less privileged each Christmas I get bulk supplies from China and that is why I need to plan right ahead. I have already received some items from there.

I stayed in the warm bed as long as I could too this morning. Need to get moving on my cleaning again.
