Dinner and Books

I am not going to bother taking a picture of these today.
I got two books from the thrift store. They have trouble running my gift card almost every time I go. I have about $42.00 left on it.
Dragonwyck by Anya Seton 0.50
Cavendon Hall by Barbara Taylor Bradford $3.00
I bought some broccoli and cheese veggie tots to try. I also bought some cauliflower rice, an onion, garlic, and two bell peppers. I saw some pulled chicken in the meat section at the store and I bought that as well.
It's going to be a healthier stir fry type for supper tonight.

I had a coupon for free chicken wings.
My honest opinion....(regular price $16.00) way overpriced and way too much work....I might just as well buy fresh wings and the sauce and make it myself.

Atleast it was free.
As an aside, I feel like you guys have more access to better coupons than we do. Though it's been awhile since I've been couponing.

@Morleyhunt I found that most of the things that there are coupons for? I don't really eat or consume. I have gotten a few coupons for things I did like. I will sometimes email companies that I like and get coupons for foods I enjoy.
You can do a search for coupon companies that accept inquiries for coupons.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I rarely use coupons.n they are never for items I purchase and the saving dint support the use. These coupons were a rare exception. The cashier was impressed. I had $58. In groceries for $3.

Tonight for dinner we had porkchops baked potatoes and mixed veggies. Your dinner sounds yummy as well. I hope you enjoy your new books as well

I was going to make pork chops instead but decided not to. It was delicious and low carb which is what I was going for!
I am sitting here trying to decide what I want to read next.

My Brother did not cook last night because they went out with the kids and they have their dinner at McDonald's. I was left here alone last night and I am having time with myself.
Then I found a page in the Facebook where I can buy second-hand books and brand new.
I love to have my own copy of Harry Potter books and I could not find books by Anne Rice too bad.

I really like the cover on the Barbara Taylor Bradford book but I like the model on the Dragonwyck one.

I didn't make the tots as the stir fry was enough, I'll have to try them sometime soon.
Oh I love Turkey!
The pulled chicken I got was delicious and really made the dish.
