Not happy about my car

I received another call from the dealership about the saga of the leaking convertible top. Long story short--they tried telling me that the top is not leaking and that the drains are clogged again. That's what they told me 2 months ago when they cleaned them out. So, after 16 months with no drain issues, now suddenly 2 months later I'm supposed to think that the drains are fully clogged again and that is causing inches of water in my car. Mazda also recommends that I get an "all weather" cover to keep on it. Seriously? They think I'm going to cover the car that I drive every single day? (We don't have a garage) Finally, it is going to COST me $200 for an interior detail and ozone treatment to clean and dry out the water from the car. All of this to NOT guarantee that it won't leak again with the next heavy downpour. I told my husband that he can call Mazda corporate customer service tomorrow and deal with them. I'm done with this.

what is annoying is that they are telling me that it is the same thing it was the last time and it took them 5 days to tell me what it took them 1 hour to tell me 2 months ago.

@NJChicaa That's crazy! Why would it take them five days to figure it out?

@NJChicaa I'd be annoyed too. A few years ago my daughter bought a new car. Two weeks later on a limited access highway, at high speed she blew a tire....in fact ...lost the tire altogether. The dealership made her buy a new tire because she didn't risk her life to retrieve the shredded pieces....in heavy traffic. They told her she must have tampered with the tire.

Wow if this is going to keep happening you might want to think about trading it in for a different car I would not put up with this what so ever.

This is annoying and I am 99% sure that the drains aren't the issue.

That is ridiculous, that drain should NOT be plugged up again, so soon! Mazda needs to make this right with you, for sure!

@NJChicaa Maybe when your husband calls, they will get to the bottom of this. While if a woman called, they might put it off as the repair shop did.

It is probably Trump's fault. SORRY, SORRY! But I could not resist a little chiding.
