Cleaning lady drama this morning

And this time it wasn't her fault! I remembered that she was coming and left the back door unlocked for her. . . but when I left out the front door I set the alarm just out of habit. So, naturally she tripped the alarm when she opened the back door and entered. She texted me and I responded with the code to disarm it right away, but it still wasn't in time so the alarm company was alerted. They called my husband who was in a meeting and didn't respond, so they dispatched the police to the house. Then they called me and I was able to explain what was going on. By that point it was too late to call off the police. I guess the cleaning lady was able to show them that she disarmed the system and show them our text messages because she texted me and said "the police were here and it was funny!" Glad she thought it was funny!
