Rats, I knew they were busy at the garage yesterday, but they told me they should be able to get it fixed today. I dropped it off last night. I called at about 2 PM and they still hadn't looked at it..! They said well we hope to get to it..but there is a car occupying the lift... I wish they just would have said..that yesterday..Of course this particular place. They.all go out to lunch from 12 to 1 and shut everything down..only in small town America..oh well..You would think they could have called with an update. Not sure what I am going to do if it isn't fixed tomorrow..I will freak out..if I don't have a car this weekend. I might have to go closer to the city..well anyway, I will call in the morning and see about this. I mean it just seems like common courtesy to keep someone updated though. Don't you think?

@snowy22315 Wow, that explains a lot, can't depend on men in the shop to keep up with that part of the job. Hope she comes back soon so they know what to do

Oh @snowy22315 It is terrible how long some of these things take.
We have a friend who was just told her car will in the shop for 2 weeks! Now she has to rent one we guess to get to work and take care of family thinkgs. Always something, isn't it?

Oh what a horror! I think I would find a different garage.

No they wouldn't do that here in small town America..it is mostly the larger dealerships that offer something like that. This is a small independent garage.

@snowy22315 We bring the car to a small independent garage, but they offer a courtesy car when they keep the car more than one day.

Common courtesy has been thrown out the window in today's society.

Yes and if it is not going to be done by the weekend I would get the car and take it elsewhere.

I hope it doesn't come to that..there are some garages in a town not too far from here..that I might try..if I have to. Most of the other ones in this area..either I don't trust..or are too expensive.
