Card got overdrawn

As most of you all no my husband is on ssi and that is what we live off of. I opened my cash app to see how much we had and it said -12, umm ok I thought you couldn't overdraw on these government cards, so I called the company to see how and why this happened. It's comes to find out that the gas station shell charged us twice and took are money. I have been calling the manger of the store but he is refusing to talk to me. I know it's only 12 bucks dang that could of been stuff we needed and it will be coming out of his check on the first..

Call the card directly cant they help? That is terrible that happened. And the mgr wont talk to you man that is really bad. Contact info on there.

I know it and I have called the card and talked to them people they were the ones that told me to call shell and talk to mgt.

@hillhjill Well that manager needs to do something about it..this does not seem right at all. It seems you need a mediator. Is there anyone else that could step in and help? I know you need that money it is not like you have it to spare.

@Courage7 No it don't seem right and I guess I'm going to have to call direct express back and tell them they will not talk to me. I know the mgt is there I had a friend go there yesterday and he was working.

Call Shell immediately and file a complaint. This happened to someone in our family, but not with a gov't card. It was her credit card and the company made good on it. We did not think these cards could go over the limit either, so something is fishy there. $12 is a lot of money. We can get a ton of fresh food from the market here for that amount.

I have been calling shell over and over and even left my phone number for the manger to call back and nothing. It's like he is having others answer the phone while he is there.

She said she will see what she can do, so I will have to call and tell her that the manger won't give me time of the day and see what happens.

I'd continue to pursue that. That doesn't seem right at all. Hope you find a way to get it back.
