I freeze. Really though it doesn't freeze here much on the coast. I love cold weather gear. lol

@Janet357 The last time it snowed here was in the 70's. But yes, in the north and east where they do get snow, schools and government offices do close. depending on the severity.

49 is pretty chilly! But we were in the low 30's this morning when I took Eli to school. 85 sounds nice, we are going to miss that....we get a few days in the 60's but then we are going to freeze!

We have high humidity this close to the coast. I love the low humidity days though. A santa ana has kicked in. Dry hot winds from the deserts have arrived.

My grandson Nate and his wife Shauni love San Diego, they moved there about six months ago:) We had the furnace on this morning, in our part of Michigan!

@KimJohnson Well, we've got all the tender stuff dug up and greenhoused as of yesterday. We'll be cutting back a lot of shrubs n the coming weeks. That's about all I can think of right now, though I'm sure I'm forgetting something important! Our clocks don't go back just yet, and there is talk that from next year we will stay on summer time for the whole year.

We are getting ready for the time change..Ugh.. Thatll make things worse. I do not like the short days. But ours are so mild. Do you have a lot of work to do to winterize the garden?

I had an Aunt that lived in San Diego and cousins in Anneheim. I was there and we went to Disney Land. That is quite a difference in temperature. Today we got rain in Jerusalem and I wanted to let my cat out on our porch and it was raining. Tried to explain but when i think it stopped it was cold out there so let her out and she came right back in.
