I got the car back

They did fix the brakes and it wasn't terribly expensive, so that is really good, but I do have to take it back on Monday so they can fix the problem with the exhaust pipe..although they said they should be able to do that in an hour or less.since they have the part.so that is good. Hopefully, they won't put a car in ahead of mine. Anyway, I feel a little better. They said the rear brake line broke..and it wasn't a major deal getting it fixed. At least I have the car for the weekend..

I am glad you have the car back and things are getting back to normal. I got back from my third walk of the day about an hour ago now. Just in time as the sun was supposed to set a few minutes after I walked in the door.

I wanted to walk today..but friend was down here and wanted to go to a hardware store so we ended up doing that and grabbing a few things from the grocery store before the car was done.

Yeah, I had to jam on my brakes to avoid a deer, and it missed up the brake line..plus the exhaust pipe needed to be replaced as it was getting loud.

@DianneN They can, my sister has totalled two cars from deer strikes..Luckily, she came away without a scratch both times..and one was a rental car..so it didn't effect her insurance.

Friday was sorta bad for me. My best friend and I went to our 20 year high school reunion and no one showed up. But we did have a good time anyway.

Yes, they have a way of happening at bad times..but the reason I like this particular garage is they never over charge.
