I already had mine. I had 2 cooked artichokes and some homemade mayonnaise with garlic. I also found a lonely seafood empanada.
I decided that they were asking me to devour them
I started by the empanada because I ate a bite and discovered that it was delicious even when eating it cold. Meanwhile I warmed the artichokes in the microwave oven and that was my main dish.
I´m full and happy. So much that I brought a very little amount of Jack Daniels to my desk and will drink it as soon as the garlic taste goes away.
What will you have for dinner? For me, this was an unusual big dinner. But artichokes are the best.

@Courage7 I love them. And they are not expensive here when on season.

@marguicha It's a recipe of the south of Italy, I think Sicilian, "peperoni ammollicati".

I love eating empanada. I usually get the ham and cheese and tuna empanada. For dinner, I just had takeout food from Mc Donald's -- chicken nuggets with rice, spaghetti, and apple pie. I am having my detox tea right now while watching Apostle on Netflix. Then before going to bed, I will continue writing my 7th blog post for BitLanders. It's about women empowerment. Good evening, Marguicha.

The way to cook artichokes is simple. Just add some lemon or vinegar to the water and boil it until the leaves can be taken out easily.
