Chimes Of A Clock And The Crashing Of A Thunderstorm...

Don´t know about anyone else but the sound of a clock chiming from before or those Wind Chimes that people would put in their front door used to be calming for me and still is.
When its very hot I love to hear the sound of a thunderstorm and the waves crashing and the chime of an old fashioned clock.
Just thinking of this now as I am messing around on here with windows 10 but I don´t want to go into all that now.
The sounds are what calms you down for sure at least for me they do.
This is the nearest I can get to the chiming clock we had before.
The long-awaited follow-up to the first video, the clock has at last received a new chime barrel, which I made from a piece of 22mm dowel. The pins are brass...

It does really does´nt it.
Some won´t like the chimes but I do its just a matter of opinion or choice really.

I love all of that and the clock that I had in the house or we had was a lot nicer.
Actually it was the only nice one I could find to fit what I was writing about the other clocks gong away even louder.

@lovinangelsinstead21 My parents had a clock that played every quarter, it was a beautiful clock, but it drove me crazy during the night. My neighbors had a wind chime in their garden, during summer, when it was breezy it kept me awake all the night: I am glad that the other neighbors asked them to get it inside,w hat a relief!

Some chimes can be very soothing really I am on about the nice light ones and not the ones that sound like Big Ben although I love Big Ben would not love in a house.

I would not love to live near Big Ben at all nor have him in my house either but he is lovely to hear from a distance which is what I am really trying to say.
