Hello everyone. I hope you are having a good day. Mine has been a bit busy so far. I skipped the gym and slept in this morning which was a nice change. Then I did the grocery shopping and made homemade bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers.
I just finished getting showered and dressed and now I'm waiting on my husband. We have to go to TWO parties this afternoon. The first one is a 1st birthday party for our friends' son and the second is a surprise party for my cousin's 40th birthday. There will be screaming children at both parties so my nerves will be shot by tonight.

Screaming children? Ugh. Just thinking about it makes me glad that I never had kids.

We had a big event at one of our city's public swimming pools called K9 Splash Bash. It's an annual pool party for dogs. Always a fun event to work, and the event is always packed with people and dogs (the dogs can swim, the people can't due to health department regulations).
