Good evening myLot

We spent the afternoon and evening at 2 birthday parties. I love my 4 and 2 year old niece and nephew but by 6 pm my nerves were shot and I had reached my young child running/screaming threshold.
My husband and I stopped at our usual hangout for a couple of drinks on the way home. My adrenaline level has come down and now I’m just getting sleepy. It has been a long day.

I raised everyone else`s kids, I m glad I did not have any of my own. By the age of 43 I was free of all of them, they grew up, married and did their thing.

That does sound like a long day! Kids are great, but when there is a bunch of them running around and screaming it can take a lot out of you.
