Waiting For The Carpet Cleaners

I'm up at this ungodly hour because the carpet cleaning company is coming at 8am. Although I would have been happy with a later time they said they could get me in this morning and I wouldn't have to wait for an appointment. So, reluctantly I said yes.
Being up while it's still dark out is almost foreign to me these days. I don't get up before 8:30am normally and now I remember how it used to be when I worked. Thankfully I'm retired now and this is a one time early bird rising for me.
I know many of you are up very early every day whether you work or not.
Now I'm going to have my coffee before the carpet company shows up. I"m just keeping my fingers crossed they do a good job.

Yes I was totally surprised they worked on Sunday but I was happy I got an appointment so quickly. Guess Sunday isn't a day off anymore for most places

It went very well and I'm 100% happy with the results. I snuck in a nap so I was well rested by afternoon

Good morning! 
I won't tell you that I was up just after 5am today-and no, I don't know why! 
I used to get up early like that, but the past few months I haven't been able to.
Today the sunrise was late, or so it seemed.
I did get out for a 2.2 km walk. Its a cold morning, but very still, and that's just perfect for a nice long walk.
Now I'm watching my husband as he tires to load a new app on our smart tv. And that isn't the easiest thing to do judging by his moans and groans.
I hope that the carpet cleaners are there early, it should dry early for you too and you can put stuff back.

He didn't get the app on the smart tv.
I want to buy a newer apple tv device and have them install it, and the app too.
I know its taking the easy way out, but some of this technology is too much for us old grey haired people. I do not have a problem admitting to that.

Pretty soon we'll be changing the clocks for daylight savings time (I don't remember if you do that in Canada too?). When I got up it was pitch black out but daylight when the carpet cleaner arrived. Hope your hubby got that app downloaded on your smart tv.

I am an early riser. The max I can stay in bed is till 7 AM on a holiday. My day starts at 5:30 AM every day.
Reading your post reminds me to take appointment with carpet cleaners by mid of the week.

Good morning! Gladly, they are cleaning on a Sunday. It’s already Monday afternoon here. I am currently having some decaf tea and croissant at Tim Hortons. Later, I will be doing some grocery shopping.
