I just got off the phone with my boyfriend and he is in so much pain right now he is in tears I could tell when I was talking to him. They are looking to move him to another floor and keep him for a bit longer I will keep you all posted on how he is doing and when he comes home.

I'm sorry he is in such pain. What reason are is the hospital giving for not taking a more aggressive pain management approach? I know knee surgery is more complex than hip surgery, but there was never any question about providing me with an adequate amount of pain relief so that I was never suffering.

They are giving him stuff for pain but apparently it is not strong enough. I hope that this is over with for him soon and he is on the road to recovery.
