They want to encourage everyone to vote in the mid-terms. They are offering a free "Vote Kind" box of spices in their stores and online and also a free half-cup jar of spice or seasonings through today. There is a coupon to print out if you go to an actual store and the online code is IVOTE. Shipping charges apply but they've been lowered to $25 to get free shipping so I spent $25 to get free shipping. I'm proud to support Penzey's as a company and their message, plus I'm getting some awesome products to cook with.

@amadeo Fredo, I highly recommend this company. You can't buy their spices at the grocery store, you have to either order them or go to one of their stores. I do have one of their stores an hour away from me, but I usually just order their products rather than making the trek. I wish I could order their Sunny Paris seasoning by the 5 gallon bucket, I go through so much of it.
Their vanilla is wonderful (although kind of pricey these days, so I just buy their vanilla beans and make my own vanilla extract), their cinnamon is amazing, and they have a great pizza seasoning.

I've never heard of Penzey's Spices before. There's a place in Bay City that sells spices, they do a booming business!

I'm trying to figure out what to get for the free half-cup jar. Sunny Paris? Orange Peel? Apple Pie Spice? Ceylon Cinnamon? Sandwich Sprinkle? Smoked Paprika?
