A series of songs which feature an animal in the title will be the subject of our new music trivia quiz. I hope you don't think this music series will be "for the birds." This 1958 hit reached # 2 on the U.S. charts being the only top 40 song recorded by this artist. HIs innocent upbeat songs was a hybrid of pop and R&B. MIchael and the Jackson 5 had great success covering this singer's tunes, their recording of today's trivia song hit #1 on the R&B charts. The B-side of this single was a song called "Over And Over," which in 1965 became a US #1 hit for The Dave Clark Five when they covered it. The song's lyrics tell of a bird which really rocks, impressing all the Jaybirds with his tweet-tweet-tweet. 2. This track was off the English Band's third album released in 1980. The album had two hit singles and reached #1 on the UK album charts. This power trio's musical style evolved from punk, into a new wave, pop and reggae-infused sound.
