Swanning around again...

lol...
Yes I'm back at work... although it's sometimes hard to call it that... especially on days like today when we go out and about and.... ' swanning' around the countryside...
Today we went out to a local park with a beautiful lake , lots of trees and shrubs and some wildlife..., mainly birds, ducks and geese... and swans...
while I was pushing the lady I help look after around in the wheelchair we saw this swan preening himself... and with the sun on his white feathers, I thought he had a luminescent quality about him... it is my favourite photo from todays outing, so I thought I would share it with you...
We took a sandwich and some fruit and walked arou d the park enjoying the Golden winter sunshine and all the trees and shrubs in their changing autumn and fall colours...
I hope you are getting some nice autumnal sunshine where you are and that it's not too cold yet...

I love this photo.
This reminds me of when I lived in New Jersey. There was a local pond that had swans, ducks and geese flying by and near the gazebo. I used to feed them pieces of bread when I was little. The last time I was there--4 years ago--they weren't there any more.

Fall is such a beautiful time of year to get out and about. I will be in Ireland in two weeks, I hope I still get some of the lovely weather.

Beautiful picture of the swan. Not too bad here. The air is crisp and when the sun shines, it's a nice day.
