@HazySue
You have t o check Susan to see if you change when we do here in Israel or if you do it before or after us. Susan, I wrote in my diary that your birthday is coming up and I will not be on the computer the day it is so want to wish you a Happy Birthday now, I wanted to put a card here for you but it will not go and did down size it. Can you give me your e-mail in a private message so can send you one there. Thanks

I wish we didn't change our clocks. We don't change our clocks until the first weekend in November. I could see the point of it back in the days of the war, when we had to conserve everything for the war effort. But now? An "extra hour of sunlight" so people can sit on their couch and watch TV while it's still light at 10 PM? Nah.

Ours is winter time and winter began today. I felt it when I went to throw out the garbage.

So many will forget. It can really be funny and confusing that first day with the new time @Hannihar

@Hannihar We have had people show up at the wrong time not just on Sunday, but also for work on Monday...they forgot to change their clocks.

What do you mean by funny? One year I forgot but when remembered changed them but was late to somewhere I think.

@Metsrock69
So they know when to change for now and to change back? That is cool. How did you do that so they automatically know when to change them themselves?

It does make a difference because you have to change the time and then you may be off. Do you change yours where you are Saturday night? This is when we change ours here in Israel.

I was wondering when that was happening? Thanks for the reminder Hanni. Now I can look forward to darkness at 5 PM again, ugh.

Here in Malaysia, we have the same time all year round. I didn't know about the daylight saving until I went to Australia. One of my friends was taking a flight on the day the clock has to be changed and she didn't know about the daylight saving, so she missed the flight. We knew about it as we saw the notice but I didn't really know what it was about until my other friends told me so.

I would love to just have daylight time all year round but we do not. I write a note for myself when we have to change our clocks and it is a reminder not to forget to do it. It is ok.
