Coffee and Some Chit Chat

Happy Tuesday Everyone!
I just finished mopping the floors and now it's time to relax with some coffee.
I have hardwood floors throughout my house and they are easy to keep clean with just my steam mop. With the sun shining through this morning I could see that there was a path of footprints left from when the carpet company traipsed in and out over the weekend. Sometimes it's hard to see things on my hardwood floors as they are always shiny. With the gray skies over the weekend I didn't see those footprints until this morning.
I do my floors once a week unless they need it more often and today was the case.
Now I feel better seeing the clean floor and can enjoy my coffee without that nagging at me.
Do you let things like that bother you or can you just ignore something and go about your business?

@Marilynda1225 Over cleaning is not necessary. I only clean the main bathroom that we use all the time and the kitchen every day.

My steam mop is wonderful. It's easy to use and does the job so no dragging out a mop and bucket

@Marilynda1225 I use a bucket and a rag and wash them by hand. A steam mop would be awesome and disinfect better I think!

Your moving day is coming soon and even though it's stressful and a lot to do I'm sure you'll be very happy when you finally settle into the new place. I moved here 8 years ago and swore I'd never move again so I can understand how you feel.

I used to allow cleaning to get in my way of everything, not anymore. I clean mine once a week. What irks me is the dust, its always there, I can dust today and its back tomorrow.

Hardwood floors are definitely the best to keep clean and an easy pay-off when you do have to clean them. Glad you like that steam mop.

I always feel better when I have cleaned something that has been nagging at me.
Right now I'm investing alot of time to being transferred from this department to that department to try to get a technician out to do something to our smart tv.
I'll be really glad when I get this booked and can get off of the phone.

Our cleaning lady washes all the floors weekly, wood or not, whether they need it or not. Hubs is the floor washer here in between. I'm like you. I take care of everything that needs taking care of before I could relax. Since everything, including my walk and gym classes are done, I'm going for a facial and massage in about an hour.

I have a hard time sleeping at night when something bothers me (like cleaning the house, especially my room, run some errands, etc) So I have to get things done right away.
