Vacation request denied

I'm laughing honestly at this. So when I was hired I stated I have vacation this week. That was all fine and dandy.
I said to the manager as online has no schedule yet staff room has a schedule with me scheduled 2 days.
Frankly tell me what you want because I'm going on vacation it was booked last May.
She made it seem like she was doing me a favour and see what she can do. Nah , it's either you cover it and I'm come in following week or not cover, me not show up and not come back.

I would feel the same as well. Give me my leave or lose an employee. It is as simple as that.

And it's not even your main job. Not only did you tell her about your vacation, but you did tell her you had another job. Well, her loss if she fires you.

Agree! They were giving my shifts to another guy who kept calling in sick. Least I show up lol. Because I couldn't stay after 1230. The supervisor said I work better 5am to 945am and i do. 1240 or longer I'm dragging myself.

Exactly, she starts pulling it's a busiest truck. I'm thinking why do I care!!! The last 3 weeks they gave me shifts to anotu3r guy and I'm scheduled when he doesn't show up.

So you are saying if you go on your vacation you are fired? They can't do that! Especially if it was booked prior to you getting this job.

They claimed 2.5 days before it wasn't submitted because the system crashes. Not my problem. I told them when I was hired the days in the interview. She even had it on calendar when I went in its because someone else booked it off in like so.

Right?! They hired 10 people when I was hired only 1 left. She literally I have no one to cover. She goes if I saw it I wouksbof said no umm I'm going on vacation regardless it's booked lol

Thats crazy, how could they not give it to you when you scheduled in May. Thats not right! I would be the same way, fix it or I don't come back. Hope it works out for you
