Halloween Party

Tonight is the night for the Halloween Party at my girls' school. So, my husband and I will be going with them, while my little guy stays home with grandma.
Unfortunately, he can't join us, as siblings who don't go to the school can't go due to limited space. But it's okay, he'll have a Halloween party at his daycare on Wednesday. My husband was planning on going to that, especially since my little guy is Han Solo and hubby is Chewbacca.
Either way, it'll be fun. I am kind of looking forward to the party tonight.

What are you dressing up as?
I like the Han Solo/Chewbacca theme! We just had a Halloween costume contest for dogs at one of the swimming pools I manage, and the winning dog and its owners we dressed up as Star Wars characters. The guy was Kylo Ren, the girl was Rey, and the dog was a mini Chewbacca.

Yes, I am dressing up. I'm going as Batgirl. To go with my youngest daughter's Supergirl costume. She LOVES Supergirl.
I do love the whole Han Solo/Chewbacca thing too. My husband thought of it, and asked our little guy who loved it. It must have been fun to see the dogs dressed up. Especially the star wars one.

@moffittjc yes, they still are. I know another mom who has dressed up as Wonder Woman. There was also one other Supergirl at my girls' Halloween school dance.

@dodo19 I love watching all the littles go out in their costumes, in CO it was usually so cold they were bundled in coats and you couldn't see the costume, I am looking forward to it here and hope its warm so I can actually see them this year.

Some people I know on FB are having a Halloween party tonight but sadly I wasn't invited. I guess you probably have to be a full fledged group member to attend..

It is a fun holiday. Kids get dressed up, and they go trick or treating on october 31. That's when kids go door-to-door and will get some candy. Sometimes, some schools and daycares have parties as well. it's a lot of fun for the kids. We definitely had a good time.
