Walking

I am going down to try and see if I can walk for a while today. I hope I can, I need it badly. It is so disappointing when I have those days where my "shortness of breath" interferes too much with whatever I do. So, if I can walk a bit today, it would make me very, very happy. Will let you know later. Enjoy your Sunday.

@amadeo, I could only do 10 minutes and was walking like a snail. But at least, I did that.

@LadyDuck , I don't know if it is good, but that is the best I could do this morning. A far cry from the before days.

I hope that you're able to get out for a bit today. Watch the sky, they are forecasting rain here, so I don't know if you'll be getting any or not. It cleared here earlier, but its overcast again. I managed a very short 2 km walk just now. Its so cold and damp, I just couldn't do any more.

So happy for you that you could do a 2 km walk OUTSIDE. I only did 10 minutes indoor which is not the same at all.

What is the reason for your condition? Walking is always good. Yet, I'm not leaving the house today. The temperature has dropped and the first sleet has come down. I would like to skip winter.

My condition is very complicated unfortunately. Walking is wonderful when one can do it. I used to walk all the time: 4 seasons.

Almost two weeks of coughing, I'm starting to feel more like normal. I've walked quite a bit the last few days with my house guests. Tuesday will involve a fair amount of sitting, but hopefully I can still get out and walk, and that the weather will cooperate.

@Ronrybs , We have a huge basement with concrete floors, so that is good for doing walks and the kids and my husband used to play hockey with roller skates there and 2 big nets. They had such a good time.

I know what you are going through with your shortness of breath. I have COPD and it is no fun. I do try to walk some every day. Chasing my granddaughter around helps a bunch. LOL

I feel for you I have asthma myself so I truly know what it is like to be short on breath there are days when just going up a flight of stairs is to much..but much study on my condition and exercise even on those bad days make the bad days fewer
