Yes we’re getting snow. In October. Not exactly what I usually expect in October or fall, but can you do?
It’s just kind of confusing. I see snow and I think November at the earliest. But I know it’s October and Halloween is around the corner. Snow and Halloween don’t go together usually.
Confusing and odd.

An early snow may mean an early spring.

It should mean that but rarely does at least here in Michigan.

For the most part we all have snow in December, no matter where you are in Canada. So you should be fine to see. Sometimes we just get snow earlier than other winters. It is beautiful though and fun to see. Hopefully you are able to come visit when we have snow. Just make sure you are prepared, and have winter coat, boots, mitaines, and all.

It's been dreary all day, only about 6°, There's a possibility of snow for Hamilton and Toronto, but so far, no mention of it for St Catharines, and it can just jolly well stay away, too!

@dodo19 No sign of snow here. As the song (almost) says, I can't remember a worse... October.

@BarBaraPrz Lol. I'm glad that you don't have any snow. That's good news.

These days weather wise, it seems like almost anything can happen. I know one time in the mountains of Wva there was snow in October..and not high mountains..just the low ones in Hapers Ferry area..not too far from Wash DC.

I didn't see any snow yet in my area. Maybe I got up a bit late.

@dodo19 I guess, we should get mentally ready for the snow as it surely will come.

Snow in October. It's a little strange. Now our temperature here is about 60 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm sure there's no snow.

My sister in Calgary has experienced something like this a few years back. They actually skipped Autumn as snow came in as early as October. I hope you're warm and snug during the Halloween.

I think Calgary and the rest of the province had a similar thing this year as well. I think they had snow in late September-early October. Super early. we will definitely try and stay warm. Thankfully, I think it's supposed to be a little warmer.

We had snow early this month here in Kansas. I remember a really big snow storm on Halloween one year.

We had a couple of Halloweens here in Florida where it was extremely hot, like almost as hot and humid as summer. Heat and Halloween don't go together either. Thankfully, we're in for a colder than normal Halloween, which I don't mind at all.

@moffittjc Glad to hear it was nice and cool this year.

@dodo19 What made those hot and humid Halloweens unbearable was the fact that kids were dressed up in costumes that made them feel even hotter than normal, due to wearing masks and all. But thankfully this Halloween was nice and cool.

We had plenty of years when I was young that it snowed in our before Halloween, so that's not strange to me. We had some snow come down when it wasn't expected a Wednesday in October but I can't remember whether it was the last day of the month or the week before. It melted before landing, thankfully.

@MarshaMusselman I don't mind the snow so much. It's more the freezing cold weather that I don't like. It would be nice being able to move somewhere with no snow, but I don't see that happening for us either.

@dodo19 I prefer not having it at all ever, but that would take me moving somewhere else and we can't do that yet and maybe never
