Did Trump Screw up Today?

Pittsburgh is mourning. A heinous act of evil was committed against the Jewish community, the Pennsylvania community, and yes, the American and world communities. Many of those closest to the carnage and most acutely affected had expressed a wish and simple request that Trump keep his distance until, at the very least, he renounces white nationalism. To my knowledge, he made no such commitment, and showed up anyway. Was this wrong? Was it a political stunt or the duty of any President to appear at such a time?

I read at the news today about the 10 most hated people who had governed a country and Trump was among them with Hitler and dictator Pinochet of my country.

@tallawah I agree with that. There are very bright people there, but most of them are not taught well. I had an American friend that told me that she had learned more history in the month she was here visiting than in all her school and college years there.

it doesnt matter. no matter what he does or doesnt do, someone or some group will find something to hate about him. FYI- he never said he was a "white nationalist", he said that if loving your nation makes you a nationalist, then yes hes a nationalist. theres a difference in his meaning of nationalist and the other meaning of nationalist that everyone seems to associate with, for example, hitler.

@tallawah - the KKK gave money to hillary also. the democratic party and kkk have a long history together. thier goal back then and to now, is to get rid of the republican party.

@tallawah - i know they are in the south. funny how no one called him a racist before he ran for president. before, the naacp backed trump and honored him for helping the black community. jewish community did the same. many others did the same. republican party grew from its opposition to slavery. because of majority republican support, civil rights were passed. those that opposed it were the democrats.

People hate Trump, so nothing he does will satisfy them. If he had not gone he would have been labeled “insensitive.” And Trump’s daughter is Jewish, so why does he have to “renounce” something he obviously doesn’t believe in? It’s like answering that question, “have you stopped beating your wife,” either “answer” is wrong.

I know that on our side of the border people are sick of him. There was a Canadian lady from Toronto killed in that shooting spree. They televised a candle light vigil last night from Toronto, all of our politicians as well as various religious leaders were there. I don't know what is wrong with him, but he sure has made a mess of things.
