Heyyy, Happy November, everyone! I did a search for “November” on Pixabay, and the little guy in this picture popped up. I love hedgehogs, so I couldn’t resist using it lol. This is lengthy, and I mention Christmas, just for warning. If you don’t wanna hear about Christmas, please hit the back button, as I wanna talk about it in this post. Thanks. :)
Before I get into the November stuff, let me finish up with October lol. Once I finished my Fiverr order later, I logged offline, ate some pizza and headed outside for the Trick-or-Treaters. We only got a few at the time because the kids were just starting to head out. My best friend and her son got here a few minutes later, so I went to get into my Gekko costume. It was just a green outfit, a green clip-on dragon’s tale (close enough lol) and the mask from the little guy’s PJ Masks board game. He was happy that I dressed up though. He was Catboy and his Mom was Owlette. :) A few minutes later, my brother, sister-in-law and their kids (my little nieces and baby nephew) showed up. We all eventually went out Trick-or-Treating, and the kids had fun, and got a ton of candy. Once we got home, I relaxed and watched Trick ‘R Treat. Eventually, everyone went to bed and I stayed up to proofread, touch-up and submit my Fiverr and Textbroker orders. I got to bed late but it is what it is, I needed to wait until it was quiet.
And now, it’s November, and I have hit a wall with my writing. I think I just need a break, so what am I doing? Working on this short order lol. But once I finish it, I’m done. I was supposed to take off last weekend and didn’t because the work was there. It’s a slower day on my end and my clients’ end, so I’ll just it to focus on other online things (i.e., MyLot and survey websites), and relax for the evening.
First of all, it’s Lung Cancer Awareness Month, and I’m starting the month wearing the “Lung Cancer Awareness” t-shirt @Courtlynn made me a few years ago, after I told her I was having trouble finding stuff in stores. I truly appreciated her making and sending me it. :) I’m also wearing the “Daddy’s Girl” necklace I put together, as well as the “I Love You To The Moon and Back” necklace my best friend gave me a few years ago, as I say it to my Daddy when I write on his Facebook wall. I think most of you know by now that I lost my Daddy, as well as my Aunt and Grandmother, to lung cancer.
We have a few birthdays in November. My Mom’s birthday is November 9th, and my little niece here turns 9 on November 11th. She’ll be having a party of course, but she keeps changing her theme. I think she’s settled on Monster High again though. Anyways, I need to get their gifts soon. I have ideas for both of them. :)
I didn’t get the head start on my Christmas shopping that I wanted to, so I’ll try to get started on that as soon as possible. The Dollar Tree hasn’t had any Christmas cards in, but they might now, so I’ll check the next time we go. I probably could’ve used the time to double-check on my friends’ addresses though. Welp, maybe this weekend. Maybe. Lol. We may be going to BARCStober Fest on Saturday, so I need to get some treats for Bella, Dash and Doodles. Only the best for my babies. ;)
Wrestlemania tickets go on sale on November 16th. The WWE FINALLY announced it. I have no idea if we’re getting the tickets then or not. I guess we’ll see. Our original budget is still in the cheap seats, so I think we should just aim for double-digits, but that’s just me lol.
I’m also excited for Thanksgiving. I love watching the parade, eating and listening to music with everyone. Maybe I’ll make the sweet potatoes again, unless my teenage niece wants to. I don’t know yet. Anyways, sometimes we go out, and sometimes we don’t, because the stores are open up the street and it’s something to do (we don’t really get together with many outside the house, that’s more of a Christmas and sometimes Halloween thing). If we don’t go out, I think I’ll watch a Christmas movie and work on my cards. Start off the season. Hmmm, actually, that sounds like a good idea over going out right now lol. Make some hot chocolate to go with it lol. Of course, all of this is AFTER we all wind up napping lol.
And believe it or not, I enjoy going out on Black Friday. I just like being out, seeing the Christmas stuff, hearing the music, picking up wrapping, etc. And I’ve never had a problem with it. Now, I don’t do the 6am thing. There isn’t anything I need that needs to be picked up that early, and truth be told, I’m not a morning person. I go out in the afternoon or evening for my stuff, which is going to be stocking stuffers and wrapping this year, as I may do most of my shopping online. We have Amazon Prime so it’s easier that way.
Andddd, that could be my month of November. I say “could” because anything can change. Anyways, I’m wrapping this up so I can finish up this order and focus on other things. I hope you’re all doing well, and I’ll try to be back for the Gratitude Challenge.

My granddaughter loves hedgehogs. I have a little one that is a solar light. It is funny how such a little animal can make some people happy. You sure have a lot going on in your life. I used to be like that but I started slowing down over time. I am a big lover of holidays and now that my granddaughter is getting a little older I am having fun decorating and all.

@tammys85 I have been trying to draw a hedgehog today but it isn't looking very good. I love the holidays also and plan to start deorating more beings I have my little munchkin now. the other grand children are up in age so they really don't care about the decorations.

One of my cousins girls dressed up as gekko too. . You all looked so cute and cool in your photos on IG.
Sorry you hit a wall with your writing.. Hope things have gotten better with it since Halloween.
Aw. I still think I messed up the shirt but am so glad you still have it and wear it. and very happy i could attempt it and gift you it when you wanted one. I actually still have to (try) making mom and I ones. Might do it in the next week.
Nine is such a strange but cool age. Not a little kid but not yet a preteen.. lol. Happy early birthdays to all.
Our DT finally put their cards out like yesterday or today. Thankfully though we have all we bought last year after sales, and all our cards are ready to be sent out.
I'm glad the date was finally announced, goodluck on the seats. And have fun this weekend!
That sounds like a great thanksgiving plan. So far we're doing the usual; parade, cooking and eating, football, bowling, and putting up the tree while listening to christmas music then watching christmas movies.. but things can change (side eyes).
We've gone Black Friday shopping (or more so walking around) once and everyone hated it. Too many bad smells and very crowded. Especially for me.

Thank you sooo much!
I don't think the shirt is messed up at all. I love it, thank you again! I hope you can get yours made soon.
Right. It feels weird that our "Iddle Biddles" is growing up though lol.
I went to the Dollar Tree a few days ago, and they STILL don't have the cards out, nor does Five Below. They need to come on so I can get them before Thanksgiving lol. I'm sure they'll be out soon enough though. I have a few left over from last year that I may add to the pile.
Thank you so much! We decided to wait on our tickets. I talked to my friends who go (or used to go) yearly, and most of them usually wait until after the New Year, so that's what we're gonna do. We're just not financially ready for it. And thanks, the weekend was fun! :)
We don't usually put the tree up until shortly after, I think everyone is too tired to do so lol. Even on the years we don't go anywhere, we're still tired from the food coma. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving though!
I enjoy it, I just won't get up super early for it. There is nothing I need to get up at 6am for lol. I'm not knocking anyone who does it, I'm just not a morning person and I plan to do a good chunk of my shopping online this year.

A lot of stores have the cards, they just haven't been put out yet. They are on end caps at our store. But the trucks this week came with a LOT of christmas stuff. So if they aren't out. Theyll be out soon.
