Another Gloomy Day

Yes, unfortunately, it is another gloomy day here where I live in Canada.
It sure doesn't make you feel like doing a lot and it is too bad. I have tons of things to do but it looks like it won't be done today.
I was reading a post form @TheHorse earlier and he was asking how do you start yourself when you are feeling unmotivated?
I tried music, did not work, walking around the house for a few minutes, check the news on Tv, nothing is working today for me. I feel like i am floating in the atmosphere, not very consious of what is going on.
Can't wait to get out of that awful trap.
And how are you this morning?

I'm sorry you're feeling like that. Today is a cloudy, rainy day here but I love those days! My family all have colds from the sudden weather change but we're grateful it's nothing worse.
Just relaxing today, resting and working on getting us all better.

It's a gloomy day here as well. It's hard to get out of that kinda mood. There are times where I have to just stop everything that I'm doing and make myself go and do whatever needs to be done. Or I will make someone get me going that usually works lol..hope you can float back down to earth soon.

Its gloomy here too. But I have been transplanting cactus starts. That helps as it makes me think of spring at least

Gloomy here as well, may rain some (more). I got up motivated to post photos of Anne's latest and very difficult art quilt. She finally got is submitted on the last possible day after change upon change.
Now, I am reading others' posts and should do some mowing.

It is a bit grey here as well. Not terrible, just not sunny. It is a typical fall like day. I think the trick for me is to get some small things done. Especially if I can see them. It makes me feel more successful and then I move on to do more.

I usually go to music too when i cant get going. But like you, it doesnt always work. Sometimes, we just have to sit around and leave things for another day.

You're sounding as bad as me. I just can't get motivated but I could sit on that bench in your photo. Maybe we could just hunker down under a tarp and sip hot cocoa.
