I'm an old stump / myLot

I have about a month to stew on this issue. Its time for me to start figuring it out: the middle of December my hubby and I will run right into our anniversary date. It will be our fortieth. Amazing how fast those years zipped by. I guess I'm supposed to purchase something that has to do with rubies. Hubby is not a jewelry person. Like I said, I am stumped. Bamboozled. He consults our daughter and between them something sweet appears. He already has the place picked out where we're going to have dinner. He already has invited two friends to the dinner. Me? I sit here stumped.

You could do what I did when hubby said he wanted nothing for Christmas. Instead of typing nothing into Amazons search type rubies and maybe you can get some ideas.

@wolfgirl569 Good one. I just ran into a company that sold a jar that said on it: "You asked for nothing so here you go! Here's nothing." That silly thing cost 19.95. You could make your own for less.

Sorry I can't help. My husband doesn't get "material" gifts for anniversaries. He should be buying me rubies! Lol! We usually go away for a romantic weekend or have a romantic dinner out.

I have such a hard time thinking up gifts as well. After 40 years I don't think I would be able to come up with anything original lol Pop on pinterest see if you can find some cool ideas.
