It has been a long day but we are finally here and settled into the condo. We left for the airport at 3 am and our first flight was at 6. Our second flight was at 11:40. We landed at about 2 pm local time. It was raining when we got here but that has stopped and it is sunny and beautiful. The manager of the condo complex was happy to see us (we've been coming here for 10 years) and my husband surprised me by having a bouquet of gerbera daisies waiting for me in to condo upon our arrival. After we dropped our stuff we walked across the street to the Mexican Walmart-type store to get snacks and drinks to get us through at least the first couple of days. Now we are just resting a bit before we head out for dinner. We are going to go down toward the south end of the island to a place called The Money Bar. They usually have live entertainment on weekends and they have amazing shrimp ceviche. What's everyone else up to tonight?
