Have you ever been to a dinner theatre?

My fiance is having his Christmas work party at one of the Dinner Theatres here. I was there many years ago for our work dinner and it was a lot of fun. The entertainment is great and the food is good. He works for a large company so with the employees and their partners the place will be open just for their workplace on that night. It is a new job so it will be nice to get to meet some new people and also for him to get to know his fellow employees.
For those of you who don't know a dinner theatre is a form of entertainment at which a play is performed while the audience is served dinner. They interact with the audience which can be pretty funny.
I am really looking forward to it an to having a night out together!

Those are a lot of fun. And it will be a really great way for both of you to meet a lot of new people.
Years ago while at an out-of-town conference, I attended a murder/mystery dinner. A co-worker got a bit tipsy and was the "star" of the show.
She didn't make it to any of the sessions the next day.

@Happy2BeMe There's a group of folks who put on plays in a town to the north of us. Its a bit of a trip to get there but well worth the effort.

@Happy2BeMe yeah, I mean.. we watch tv or listen to music when we eat at home, or the kids are here. but when I eat out, I'd like it to be quiet

I have, and they are fun..if the play is good..however, last time I went..the play bored me silly, and I almost fell asleep.
