Just sharing to you this beautiful photo.
A fisherman catching fishes for his family. He is using nets called "iket" and riding his bamboo floater called "rajit".
He waits patiently for the right timing wgen fishes come then throws the fishnet and catching few of them.
He didn't know how he was become the subject of this photo and his background is the vast blue waters.
He catches more and cook for his family dinner and some of it were sold to the neighbors for some kilos of rice.
I took the photo while biking along the seashore in my place.

@ilocosboy the names of the fish are unfamiliar to me. But looks like it needs a lot of patience to get its catch.

That's what fishermen are, patience in fishing.

Peaceful and beautiful. Maybe that's why many people want to go to the beach.

Yeah, like spying on them but what I do is not to focus on their face.

@ilocosboy I understand. I do the same but it still feels a bit like prying - but you were a long way away.

We used to visit a beach close by and wait for the fisherman to get back with his catch. That fish was sold cheap.
You did capture a nice photo.

I can attest to that because I usually buy fresh catch from these fishermen.

Fishermen have the patience to wait for the perfect timing to catch the fishes, isn't it?

@ilocosboy Yes! We went out in a boat and caught a barracuda within 5 minutes and nothing for 4 hours.

The good thing about them is they always have a fresh fish for their dinner.

@ilocosboy yeah right, it was really fun, like, if only I could have fresh fish every day like them
