They Don't Know Paypal

So I've tried to apply for an ATM card in an RCBC bank. One employee interviewed me there and asked me if where I'm gonna use the ATM Card. I've replied "I will use it to connect and transfer my money from Paypal". The employee asked me if what is this Paypal about. I've said to her that I'm earning some money online and the money that I've earned goes to my Paypal. That's why I need some ATM card for me to get my money there. She seems to not understand what am I saying and asked me if I work for any company? Then I've said yes and they've asked for company ID, sadly our company (since it is a small business) don't issue one. So, they've asked me to get some Employment Certification which I plan to submit tomorrow. I just can't believe that some bank employee didn't know anything about Paypal. I hope they'll upgrade their knowledge sometimes since Paypal can be connected into banking business.

You might try UnionBank instead they are very familiar with it. BPI is another bank that is familiar with Paypal transactions, I have transferred several times thru them and they seem to be okay from my end.

Union Bank branch is quite far from my area. I've tried RCBC because like Eon card many are saying that RCBC Mywallet can be easily connected.

@simplfred Oh ok did you tell them about the RCBC Mywallet features. It seems that employee is not familiar with it and the line of questioning is quite strict that you have to present many requirements.

That is rather strange considering how popular online processors are becoming. Oh well, not everybody is always up to date on these things. When I set up my PayPal account, I had no problems setting up my account with my bank.

@betlynfrnds I agree. Yeah, already fix everything, just one week waiting time for the ATM card.

Good for you there. She don't even know that one can earn money online doing things. She even said to me that seems what I am doing is pyramiding.

@simplfred it's already frustrating if she doesn't know paypal, but to suspect you're into pyramiding is a bit insulting.

I think it's Union Bank's Eon Card that can be connected to Paypal which other Philippine Mylotters use.

others even use bpi, but bpi apparently deducts a significant amount per withdrawal, even if it's more than 7k
