Some one shared information from face book about this detox or loss weight thing.
I think boiled it with more water, not sure if I can store it and drink it the next day? Tried it today with a smaller cup
Any one has tried this before? I have it in a small container because I don't want to make it over and over again.
What are your insights in this?

Hello @SIMPLYD I don't know what was told. In youtube they were so many different versions of how this ginger lemon tea was made and some were just ginger.

@Letranknight2015 Well, when there is a lemon added it's good, because lemon has many health benefits in addition to the ginger's.

i soak fresh ginger in a mug of hot water when i feel like i'm getting a cold (sisipunin) then drink it. when the mug is empty, i add hot water again. i drink about 2-3 mugs. sometimes i add honey, sometimes i forget.
but, no, i haven't heard of that ginger lemon tea yet, but i hope it works for you.

Hello @hereandthere So in your experience you just use ginger most of the time? Well, I didn't think you can drink just ginger for a tea. I will do this when ever I feel cold.

Hello @jstory07 Okay, I understand. Actually I preferred coffee a lot more sadly, it's just making me hungry.

Vince came back from Nepal and he has been having this since. He was taking it because he got a cold. It is slivers of ginger and lemon with a little lemon juice. You pour boiling water on it and let it sit for a while then add a little of honey if you want to. We make it fresh each time and drink it hot. I don't know if you could make more and keep some. Perhaps you could.

Hello @JudyEv That's what I'm trying today because I don't need to keep boiling one every day. But maybe it's better off if I tried to just add water to the ginger instead.

@Letranknight2015 No I have not but anything that has ginger in it should taste good. I would add a bit of sugar though (lol)
