To the eye doctor today

Every day this week we have had some appointment to make. Today is my eye exam. The eye doctor likes to see me every six months due to being diabetic.
So, Monday urologist, Tuesday dentist, Wednesday optometrist. . . Nothing on Thursday, Yay! Friday afternoon coffee with a friend.
Thursday they are predicting rain and snow. It will be a good day to stay home and do nothing.
We are running early so I will do just one or two other things here. I will talk to you later.

My eye doctor says I have to come every six months. So far nothing has changed really in four years. He checks for glaucoma because my "pressures are high".

Well I hope the eye doctors went well and your good for another 6 months. It's supposed to rain and snow here also but I still have to venture out and go to work. Hoping when I get out at 8 it's not too bad out.

I hope the people who maintain your roads do a great job. It is good to have the moisture, and our temperatures are not much below freezing, so it is kind of pleasant.

My eye doctor does a glaucoma screening yearly, that was today's appointment. In six months he wants to do the regular vision exam. I do not have glaucoma but my risk factors are high.

@LadyDuck Doc says if I develop it mine would be open angle, not narrow angle. I am sorry this is happening to you.

@GardenGerty I have narrow angle glaucoma, I already had laser surgery, it helps, but it does not cure the problem.

@GardenGerty Yes we have been. We had no rain all summer but since fall started we have heavy rainfalls every few days it seems.

@GardenGerty yes. Our eyes, are so precious like me, i cannot leave the house without wearing my eyeglass, but i wish i didnt have it, i look younger without wearing it hahaha

@GardenGerty I don't like anything going near my eyes, plus I'm always afraid of bad news (even though I'm told every visit that I'm fine), as I grew up with eye problems.

I hate those weeks where every day is a doctor's appointment. I had therapy four days a week during the summer, and that was equally miserable. You deserve the break on Thursday and Friday!!
As JJ said, regional meteorologists are using the "S" word (as in sn*w), but no accumulation expected yet. This is the gleeful, "Oh, look! It's snowing!" time, not the "Oh, s**t, it's sn*wing" time.

I had the day wrong. It was supposed to be tomorrow, but they had an opening so I stayed. I am glad to have it over with. My plan is to stay home tomorrow and try to persuade hubby to cook and I will sew.

Hubby has an ongoing health problem. I am only seeing the eye doctor twice a year due to some health conditions. That dental problem was a pure accident.

They are going well enough. My eyes have not changed in the four years I have been seeing this doctor. I learn a lot from him.

It did. It was a bunch of tests to make sure my diabetes and other inherited factors are not damaging my eyes. Lots of funky machines. Numbers and results were all good.

I got mine in, but not doing as well as I would hope. I did make a shelter area for my "tender perennials to see if I can carry them over this year. Might move a couple more if I feel motivated.
