What's cooking for November?

Since I didn't have time to do part two to my October recipe report card last night, here's the second half of it. I don't know what I'm doing for Thanksgiving yet (and strangely enough, it's on a Friday this year). Besides the three side dishes, here's my list of recipes I'll be doing in the crockpot, oven, or on the stove this month. 1. Oven Scrambled Eggs--(All Recipes Magazine, October/November edition)--This seems like an interesting way of making scrambled eggs. And I made it on Sunday night for dinner. 2. 3 Cheese Pasta Bake--(All Recipes)--This looks so appetizing and filling to make on a weekend. You can't go wrong with cheese and pasta. 3. Crockpot Peanut Butter Chocolate Lava Cake (Recipes that Crock)--Remember last year I've made the chocolate lava cake and the raspberry lava cake. Since this is a new recipe to the site, I thought it would be perfect to combine the best of both worlds. Hopefully it would be done in one take and not in two or three. 4. Christie's Kale and Grape Salad (All Recipes Magazines, Oct/Nov. issue)--This looks like a good filling dish for a main meal or a side dish. The photo of the salad looks so delicious too. 5. Easy Mustard Glazed Broiled Salmon (All Recipes)--Since I had luck with salmon last month, I thought I would try new recipes to have salmon on Friday night. I could pair one of the side dishes with this meal. 6. Crockpot Scalloped Potatoes and Ham (Recipes that Crock)--This recipe sounded delicious and appetizing as well. 7. Slow Cooker BBQ Lentils (The Kitchn)--I saw a couple of easy two-ingredient crockpot recipes over this weekend via email. All I need is lentils and BBQ sauce--I've got both of them in my kitchen. 8. Orzo with Parmesan and Basil-- (All Recipes)--This is one of my second pasta dishes I've picked to make for dinner this month. I never had orzo pasta before. 9. Hungarian Mushroom Soup--(All Recipes Magazine, Oct/Nov. issue)--Since it's officially fall over here with colder temperatures, this is the perfect time my own soup. 10. Baked Salmon with Lemony Orzo and Basil Bacon Peas (All Recipes)--This recipe had the best of both words--pasta and salmon. And it's very easy to make for a weekend meal, packed with lots of calories. 11. Crockpot Chickpeas Pizza (The Kitchn)--This is another recipe from the email I saw this weekend. I've got the chickpeas and pizza sauce. I hope it tastes good as it sounds. 12. Quick Beef Stir Fry (All Recipes Magazine, Oct./Nov. issue)--I'm going to swap out the beef with the chicken like someone suggested in the magazine. It's been awhile since I had stir fry. 13. Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken (All Recipes)--This is another chicken dish to give me plenty of protein and looks so easy to make. 14. Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken (The Kitchn)--Although I'm not a big salsa fan, this dish is easy to put together in a snap. I still have my leftover bottle of salsa I've used earlier this year and need to buy the chicken this weekend. 15. Emergency Chicken (All Recipes Magazine, Oct./Nov. issue)--This is another easy to put together for a quick meal. It looks so appetizing and good enough to eat. That's all folks. Here's what I'm making for dinner starting this weekend.

Thanks! I try to pick meals with protein--chicken, pasta, seafood, vegetarian. Same here. I do what's on sale and what I have coupons for too. I have $11 in coupons for Curbside Express.

For me what's not cooking in November is turkey. I've never cooked a turkey before, and I won't be this Thanksgiving either.

Your recipes all look delicious but I'm particularly interested in the lentils and BBQ sauce. I tend to make the same things over and over and need to create some new dishes
