Temporary Error 14 on Yahoo

MyLot world is full of experienced people who usually can help me out.
When I try to access Yahoo it gives me "temporary error 14".
I have no problem with anything else, any other site.
Yahoo does not recognize my e mail address, my recovery address, or my phone number.
Wiki tech says that unless I am pretty experienced and techie, I need to down load some software that they conveniently link to. It is called PC repair and it is produced by Outbyte privacy shield. I thought I would see what you guys think.

My best bet may be to log out and shut down for the night and see if it gets over its tantrum.

A lot of times I just restart, or even reboot, my computer and it takes care of what problem I am having.

I have tried that, as it is part of the link. I cleared my cache and cookies as well. Maybe I need to go do that again. I also made sure I had the latest version of my browser.

@GardenGerty ......Hmm. I have trouble with Yahoo occasionally. I just reboot and it takes care of it. Have you recently had some Microsoft updates? Sometimes, for me anyway, it seems to cause some strange things to happen.

I'm sorry I couldn't help you with that. I quit using yahoo for 12 years already. I found it unreliable then so I switched to hotmail which is not msn outlook. And I've never encountered a problem with it.

This is the first I have had this problem. The bad thing is that my most important e mails come there.

@GardenGerty When I was working we had to send emails to Korea and they were not getting the ones sent through yahoo mail and vice versa. So had to switch to MSN and it worked perfectly without a hassle.

Yes, rebooted. Yes, completely cleared cookies and cache. Yes, updated my browser. Yes, tried other browsers. . . it stinks because you cannot get in touch with a live person by phone or by chat.

Oh that's frustrating for you.. I wouldn't know what to do if it happens to me.. I hope you get it all sorted out..
