The alpona and rangoli in Laxmipuja cleans up the houses.

November 7, 2018 6:30pm CST
Cleanliness is next to Godliness. On the day of Laxmipuja every Hindu household are cleaned up. New bed sheets, curtains are put. The biggest part is the colours used in rangoli and rice husk used for alpona. They are given on the floors. The entire cleaning process makes the houses free from germs. Then the puja for Goddess Laxmi is done. Bengalies show their work of art in giving the alpona.

I love to do all the needful in LAKSHMI PUJA. The best part is to be with family with all in new dresses and worship goddess LAKSHMI .

Thanks Debjani, the great part is the get together of family members and friends, neighbours in Laxmipuja. Just like Durga puja, in Laxmipuja the bond and brotherhood is strengthened.
