I have a question for all those that like to read what is the most you will spend on a book it can be ebook or paper book? Normally I don’t spend anything more than $3.99 unless I am trying to get a whole series in one set. But today I spent $10.99 for Debbie Macomber’s new Christmas book Alaskan Holiday. I think I will finish what I am reading then start reading holiday books until the end of the year. Do you like to read holiday books if so have you started reading any yet? If so please share what ones you are reading or aregoing to read.

I'll spend up to $3 for a nice thick book. I also load free ebooks, only full length ones though. I enjoy sci fi and horror mostly, not much into holiday books.

@Tina30219 I'm reading 'Brass Man' a scifi. It's pretty interesting and tends to follow along the same path as early scifi. It's a good story, a little difficult to follow but I like a challenge.

I mostly get library books. The only new books I buy are for gifts.

I have paid full price at store for books for my kids but I never do for myself. I hope you love it! I love Debbie Macomber books. I have a huge stack to read and have already read so many of hers. Right now I am reading "A bend in the road" by Nicholas Sparks.

@Tina30219 I'm loving it. Soon I'll be moving onto Christmas books. Can't believe how fast the year is moving.

I usually get second hand books or get books that are on discount. I really don't pay the full price for anything. I'm a cheapskate.

@allen0187 I buy my daughter books sometimes from thrift stores or yard sales. I prefer to borrow books for free from a library. I get them free in little free libraries and from friends etc.

I don't buy many new books. Sometimes I buy books in the local second hand stores. Those books are very cheap compared to new books and I often find some interesting books there. I use the library a lot. If I really like a book from the library I might buy my own copy (if I know that I want to read it again)

@Tina30219 I also do that sometimes. I love the library, I would get poor if I had to buy all of the books I want to read

@Porcospino I would as well. If my library don’t have the ones I want or need to finish offa series I have started I will go to amazon and get it. I try to get them if they have the series together in one book.

I usually borrow just borrowbooks from the library. However, I've spent a pretty penny for some books over the years that I needed/wanted for my kids for school.

I spend a few dollars. Less than $10. I saw kindle books with the price of $30. It was just a normal book.
