I believe that most of us, if not all of us, have heard this little saying. I am sure many of us have used it on occasion. I know I have.
This little idiom is said to have originated in the 1600's in either Scotland or Germany. I have run around on the internet looking to see if I could find out how this saying came into being. Unfortunately I could find the information.
I guess you could say I will find the info "When pigs fly".
Anyway, the meaning if you don't already know it is - you can just forget about this happening, impossible, not a chance.
If anyone out there knows how this idiom got started let us all know.
