Going to a David Cook concert tonight

I am going to see David Cook in concert today. He is gonna do an acoustic set this time around. And it's gonna be at Sony Hall. Very excited! Can't wait for tonight! I love his music and his concerts. Glad that he keeps coming to NYC. He does small venues so it feels more intimate and the energy is great. It's also cheap compared to concerts at big venues. I don't remember how much I paid for my ticket but it was definitely under $50 (and that's with fees already added). Won't pay that much for a ticket at MSG. The only downside to small venues is that it's usually standing, no seats. And if you have a bulky jacket or handbag it's not as comfortable because you can't put it down anywhere. But at rock concerts you shouldn't be sitting anyway. And there's potentially a coat check... Do you prefer concerts at small venues or big arenas/stadiums?

Enjoy. He is a wonderful artist. I haven't been to a concert in years but I prefer smaller venues.

@Happy2BeMe That's a bummer. I wonder if fans can message him somehow and ask him to come to their neck of the woods.

I think I prefer small venues too. And they are more affordable.

Watching a concert on TV is just not the same experience as seeing a concert live. But I don't mind watching one on TV though.

@lovebuglena No it's not and I went to many years ago but I just don't find it worth fighting the crowd to see them any more. But that's just me.

in my opinion, I prefer concerts in the open arena, like the stadium because the venue will be very free

What do you mean by "the venue will be very free"?

@leny34 Gotcha. Thanks for clarifying. It is definitely less crowded and confined than a small venue.

@lovebuglena I mean, I prefer to watch concerts in big arenas like stadiums, because the place is very wide
