NaNoWriMo - Days 11 & 12

To say I'm busy would be an understatement. Though, I'm happy I'm not as busy as last week. Still, my focus for the past two days has been on my writing. Sunday morning, I woke to a wonderful sight. The snowplows were out and the snow was falling. I haven't seen the totals for the weekend, but I'm guessing with what we got Saturday night/Sunday morning we have a weekend total of three inches. It's the perfect kind of snowfall, on the grass, not the roads or sidewalk. It also melted by game time. There's still snow on the ground, but not a lot. I'm going to guess at half what we initially received. After church on Sunday, I settled right into writing. The Packers/Miami game started at 3:25, so I had a couple hours to write. So, coupled with what I wrote after the game, my totals were: Total word count for the book - 129,789. Total words for the day - 1760. I was happy I made the word goal. It was a hard writing day. My NaNoWriMo total - 20428. Yesterday, I had more time to write, and with I ended up with on Sunday, I was able to move forward and it wasn't a difficult writing day. My initial goal was to write 5000 words. That didn't happen, so I revised it to 3000. I came close. My book total is 132,299. My words for yesterday - 2416. My total NaNoWriMo total - 27027. I am now past the halfway point in the challenge, which also gave me the 25K NaNoWriMo badge. The next badge is 40K. I expect to get there by the end of the week. Today is laundry day, followed by a doctor appointment with my gastro. I'm not forgetting it this time. It will be a light writing day, but even so, I do plan to write the goal words and a little more, since most of the time, I've written at least 2000 words a day. Just a mention for the Packers/Miami game. The Pack won 31-12. Thursday we play Seattle. Another tough game for the Pack. That's been my writing week and what has occupied my time, along with prayer last night at church. How has your week gone so far? Let me know. I will get to all your notifications. Right now, I'm on November 8, so not too far behind. I will take my laptop with me to my son's when I leave to do laundry in a very short while, and see what if anything I can accomplish. I won't make any promises. Tomorrow will be an easier day. I have no plans, and none for Thursday, and only my Friday Small Group. So, I should get some time here the rest of the week and get writing done as well. Thanks for reading.
