A “Worth Your Money” Purchase

Lately, I bought an Air Revitalizer / Air Purifier, online. Picture of which is hereby attached. I bought it last week, and since I didn’t buy the aroma essence, I would just put some drops of my aromatic oil – eucalyptus. The room is so fragrant when it’s with that. I also bought a small orange-like fragrance of aroma essence from my officemate who ordered another one of this. It is also so refreshing! But because I want to scrimp on the essence, I would just put some drops of it just an hour before we sleep. We love smelling it while we watch some funny videos on my hubby’s mobile phone. Though, even without that aroma essence, the room seems so fresh and clean. It lives up to its name, air revitalizer / air purifier. What do you do to freshen your bedroom, aside from changing the bedsheets? Before, I put a room freshener. Now, it's that.

I open the windows to freshen our bedroom. We only go there to sleep, I close the windows about half an hour before we go do sleep, to allow the temperature to warm up a bit.

When the weather is hot, we do also open two screened windows, to freshen the air. It is best to keep the room freshened before going to sleep so, it would be so comfy to sleep.

@LadyDuck If you can open the window then it is so.much better than a purifier.

@SIMPLYD I have an Air Purifier in the dining room, I use time by time, but I like a lot to open the windows to clean the air inside.

I have the same in my house as well. It is pretty old already because I bought that about 3-4 years ago so mine is a bit old already but it still is working already. I just noticed that when I use that often the smell becomes less and less over time. So I have to stop using it so that my nose would not get used to its smell anymore. Right now, I bought another one that that blows mist in the air. It is more effective for me right now although the function is the same.

@SIMPLYD I see it looks we have different effect for me the smell last longer with mist diffuser than the other one. LOL I guess ours is older already maybe it is becoming less effective already.

@rsa101 My officemate said you have to clean the one with the motor, since it can get clogged with all the dirt it purified. I wonder how we can clean it .

Hubby doesn't like that one with mist coming out. The scent will eventually be gone once it is emitted into the air over some time. It actually depends on how much you dropped into the water, before it will be switched on. I just put some few drops and that will be good for an hour or more, just enough until we will finally be asleep.

I use a spray of lavender oil and water in my bedroom. For the living room and the kids room its usually orange blossom, lemon or mint spear minty, peppermint etc. usually its a mix of those.

Can those sprayed scents last for an hour or more like the revitalizer? Orange is so refreshing. Lavander is to make us sleepy.

@sofssu Before this revitalizer, I use the Glade or Ambipur air freshener. They usually lasts for one month and 10 days. Costly. I am happy, I have this now. Even without the scent , the room feels and smells fresh.

@SIMPLYD Orange, mints and lemon are for refreshing and concentration, lavender is for relaxing. Yes they do last. But, I just spray lightly from time to time.

Indeed, it did that. Hubby and I are happy that at least, we smell a nice scent before we go to sleep. Although, I am always smelling good , because I wash my face and body before going to sleep.

It is nice to have such aromatherapy in a room; can make you sleep better. I love scents too, especially citroneella oil scent.

Yes, indeed. That is why I put the drops of the aroma essence an hour before actually going to sleep. AT least, while we are doing some viewing of our fb accounts or watching something from hubby's mobile phone, we get to savor the refreshing smell. Citronella scent is indeed so nice to smell.

it's at Lazada only 474 plus 50 pesos freight. Though, aroma therapy oil isn't compat8ble with it. It stops. Only aroma essences not oil.

I believe we have the same brand of diffuser. :o) We use it when there's weird smell coming from the neighbors or when the house gets a little musty. I prefer the orange scent too. I'm thinking of getting another one for our rooms upstairs or for the basement.
