Why is my picture sideways?

The profile picture should be a "square" to show correctly. I cropped the image for you, use this one.

I had a few of these and many others here.Not you.

Either you need to rotate or it is too big. Go to your photo editor and crop it and make sure to rotate the crop to an up position. Be sure to save the crop version. Try again.

I found out how to change how your photo is facing if you have an Android phone. Somewhere below someone out a link to another members post about editing photos here A different member told me what to look for, short of and I found it if you have an Android phone open up your gallery, then as soon as you pick out the photo you want a bunch of symbols show up below the image. Tap on the second from the left. On my phone it is three lines with something looking like a stopper in either end. When that opens you will see something with a directional on it if you tap that it will turn your image around

Most phones and cameras have a default side. Oddly enough my camera usually does it right when I hold it naturally but it seems that once or twice it turned my pic around even when I didn't turn my device sideways. It helps to have a photo editor on your phone that can turn photo around. If there is one I don't know it. I've turned mine with windows picture viewer by Microsoft on my desktop. If there I've for ones I've no idea..
