Here's our version of delicacy made from sesame seeds with ube in rice flour, one of the best snack in town. We call this as "butchi". Inspired from a posted discussion of @allknowing about their delicacy with sesame I also posted this food. Actually there are two kinds, the other one is white in color and flavored cheese. This food is usually sell by vendors in my place who are good in making butchi. The price is also a cheap one. It has a soft texture but it taste delicious. Some vendors put fillings inside to make it tastier.

I think there's no difference in taste, sesame seeds seem like tasteless.

Seeing that picture made me crave for it LOL!! I have tasted the white version but not the ube variation. I thiink it taste same as teh white ones are except it taste different because of the ube with it. It's soft but sticky when you chew it.

I love butchi. But we don't have that ube version of butchi here though. I know that ube is so delicious.

Ube is a kind of rootcrop, it has purple color. When pulverized it is made for many delicacy such this one, it is also good for ice cream and cake.
