Longing for new Headset

headset, nobwit
Philippines

It's been a year since I had my keyboard, mouse and the headset. Now, it's looking old and broken. In fact with my mouse I double click by accident way too often. For my head set i can only hear in one phone only and this is third one I have one. I went to the shop were I bought this thing and shocked to know that they don't have it on stock. They might get new ones by the week end. I wanted to buy on the mall but it's more expensive. How long before you start replacing computer parts, etc? only when it's broken?

I replace the parts if I can no longer fix them. I think I posted before that I fixed my mouse... With the headset, I just use the one that came with my cellphone.. It sounds good.. That's why I bought another headset of that kind just in case it gets broken.

I am not crazy about changing the parts of computer or smart phones for no reason! I will do it only when I feel it is a must to have proper function of the equipment!

@Letranknight2015 , No I have seen adding addition key board to laptop when they have normally functioning key board. I have seen people going in for wireless mouse with their desk top when the mouse is working normally. I also have seen people adding USB port fans, lights to their computers! I call these things as crazy and not changing the damaged parts!

Hello @AKRao24 why do you have to be crazy when changing computer parts anyways, specially if they started malfunctioning.

I only change thing when it ends functioning. Keyboards and mouse wires were cut out by rats. I did not replace it with new ones and just connected it back by tying its wire and taped it.

Hello @ZedSmart Wow you were able to connect the wires of mouse and keyboard, how was that possible. I would panic if rats were messing with my computer.

@Letranknight2015 It's just simple but you need a lot of patience. Especially on keyboards because it has 4 separate groups of small wires packed in different colors. You just follow its color and connect each others end and then tape properly so that it won't touch to the other group or wires. After that, it would regain its function.

Yea, I don't buy stuff 'til it is broken and beyond repair. I wear shoes that last up to as long as 20 years sometimes. Cause they sit in the closet not being worn out much. Keyboards wear out fast but I know where I put my finger tips cause I took a typing class or two back in Jr. College. If you get that headset, hope it is a good quality set and hope it works for a long time and doesn't cost too much for you. Can you order from like, Walmart from where you are at? If so I got a link for you to look at.
Shop for Computer Headsets All PC Microphones in Audio & Video Components. Buy products such as Logitech H390 USB ClearChat Headset with Noise Cancelling Microphone at Walmart and save.

That's the thing with our gadgets nowadays they seem to get older faster than the gadgets we used to have a decade or so ago. I think they really do that so that consumers will buy more often so their demand will always be there.

Hello @rsa101 The quality seemed to suck every year. It doesn't last like it used to be. But then the mouse I bought was second hand dell.

I hope they will have their stock this weekend as they say. It's hard to be listening to one side of the headset. My headset is a won thing in a raffle two years ago. I love it. I always use it to watch my favorite soap Halik during our lunchtime at the office.
