The pink diamond known as 'Pink Legacy' was sold for $50 millions at Christie's annual Magnificent Jewels auction in Geneva two days back. This diamond with 19 carats weight, with a 'Fancy Vivid' color gradation, indicating highest level of color intensity and with minimum inclusions created a record in the World as an most expensive diamond sold so far per carat. The diamond was valued between 30million dollars and 50 million dollars by the auction house before the auction. But the diamond got sold for $50 million within 5 minutes in the auction! I watched this news last night from TV. This is a very expensive diamond. Actually I don't find it much more special except for its price. It is still a kind of beautiful glass for me
