I just finished up a custom order for a pair of crocheted slippers. In between orders, i like to work on easier projects that don't require much detail. I found some really cute Cardinal bird towels at the store, so i'm crocheting tops on them with a button closure so they can be hung up in a kitchen. I hang mine on the stove handle. They are very handy when you want to dry off your hands after doing the dishes etc. They sell pretty good for holiday gifts too.
These also go great with other holiday decor.
Do you decorate your kitchen for the holidays?

My mom used to make these tea towel handles. We may have one or two still around here somewhere but the majority of them were very worn. She had stopped crocheting several years before she passed away.
I think that the red goes very well with the design of the towel. Are you going to put these in your shop?

I do to, just need more energy to do it. It's hard to get into it when it's in the 80's (Florida)

This is so cute! What a great idea!
We decorate our table because we do not use it, but the rest isn't all that festive.

Thank you. I have a new puppy, so this year should be "fun" keeping decorations away from him
